Analyst and trader Michaël van de Poppe is highlighting one crypto asset that could go up by triple-digit percentage points while updating his outlook on Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). Van de Poppe tells his 775,600 followers on the social media platform X that the native token of the decentralized machine-learning network Bittensor (TAO) is “doing great” and is primed to rally by over 125% to a new all-time high. “Good to be in profit on this position and I think that the crypto & artificial intelligence (AI) narrative will push this one past $1,000.” Source: Michaël van de Poppe/X…
Bitcoin appears to be on the verge of a major price movement, and data suggests that volatility could return in a big way. With Bitcoin’s price action stagnating over the past few weeks, let’s analyze the key indicators to understand the potential scale and direction of the upcoming move. Volatility A great place to start is Bitcoin Volatility, which tracks price action and volatility over time. By isolating the past year’s data and focusing on weekly volatility, we observe that Bitcoin’s price recently has been relatively flat, hovering in the $90,000 range. This prolonged sideways action has resulted in a…
Ethereum remains under the $2,700 level despite Bitcoin’s resilience, as the broader crypto market and top altcoins rebound. Traders appear to be shrugging off concerns over China’s DeepSeek artificial intelligence advances and U.S. President Donald Trump’s tariffs. The largest altcoin’s price performance remains underwhelming, however this could change as sentiment among traders turned positive, according to data provider Cryptoeq. Ethereum price struggles even as on-chain metrics turn bullish Ethereum’s holder count has continued to rise steadily, according to on-chain data from intelligence tracker Santiment. On Tuesday, the number of Ethereum holders climbed to 138.98 million, marking an increase of nearly…

A $1.4 billion hack at Bybit prompted former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, to commend Bybit’s chief executive, Ben Zhao, for his transparent and measured response. Massive Bybit Hack Spurs CZ to Warn: ‘We Should Never Take Security for Granted’ The breach, linked to sophisticated North Korean hackers, targeted Bybit’s multi-sig cold storage. […]
They say journalists never truly clock out. But for Christian, that’s not just a metaphor, it’s a lifestyle. By day, he navigates the ever-shifting tides of the cryptocurrency market, wielding words like a seasoned editor and crafting articles that decipher the jargon for the masses. When the PC goes on hibernate mode, however, his pursuits take a more mechanical (and sometimes philosophical) turn. Christian’s journey with the written word began long before the age of Bitcoin. In the hallowed halls of academia, he honed his craft as a feature writer for his college paper. This early love for storytelling paved…

On the price charts, Cardano [ADA] fell to an ascending trendline with a strong history of triggering price reversals ADA’s large transactions volume dropped by 8%, hinting at a fall in whale participation The last 24 hours have been critical for the cryptocurrency industry due to a massive $1.4 billion crypto hack targeting Bybit. This heist has affected the overall cryptocurrency market. And yet, ADA the native token of the Cardano blockchain, has remained fairly stable, holding above the crucial support provided by the ascending trendline. Current price momentum During this period, the altcoin registered a price drop of 4%,…
I just sat down and watched this debate between Jimmy Song and Jameson Lopp on Bitcoin ossification. I don’t even know where to start as far as the absurdity and broken “logic” in every argument Jimmy made in this debate. So I won’t try, I will focus on one specific line of argumentation he made. “Money shouldn’t change, it should be predictable.” He specifically spoke along these lines in regards to “letting things mature” in this space from a technical point of view, and implicitly stating that upgrades to Bitcoin “pulls the rug out from under” existing developers building things.…
